Whatever your prayers are , malas help the mind focus + discipline during times of giving thanks, asking for guidance, or creating a layer of protection around oneself. You never know, when spirit will call, or when you may need to make the call, can be worn as a necklace, or wrapped around the wrists a few times, to always have on hand ;)
.:. Traditional one rotates each bead while saying a mantra , designated set of prayers. Moving to the next bead once the verse is uttered. So on and so fourth, until complete.

  • Oud/Agarwood is the most revered, highley prized, and rare wood. Growing only in the southeast asia territory , it has been recorded since biblical times, found in many religious texts, and includes a vast source of wisdom + teachings. Oud is generally reffered the distillation of the agarwood itself, but can go both ways when speaking of the matter. It is the 2nd heaviest wood compared to ebony. These malas hail from the Cambodian forests, each is 36” total + 5.5” tassel and the bead diameter is 9mm. With the wood being so dense, in order to acheive the smell, it is usually hydro-distilled, which takes 8-64 days of straight proccessing to acheive. These malas do have a subtle smell, yet as above, in order to really experience would need to be burned, or distilled, stay tuned as we will soon be offerings both options to fully experience this immaculate wood.

  • Sandalwood is another praised, rare, and delicate wood. It is much lighter in feel, and less dense than oud, making it easier to carve. A very sweet , calming, and sensual scent. Aids in deeper self love, nurturing + trust in the perfection and unfolding of life. The smaller , 8mm diameter beads, 28” length + 1.5” tassel, is Nepalese sandalwood. It is very fresh, emanating the pure and sacred scent of true sandalwood and serenity. The larger mala, 9mm diameter beads, 36” length + 1.5” tassel , is Indian / Mysore sandalwood. A different strain than the Nepalese, and is from an older source of wood. It also has a wonderful scent, just slightly lighter in character with different notes than thee other.
