Oud/Agarwood is the most revered, highley prized, and rare wood. Growing only in the southeast asia territory , it has been recorded since biblical times, found in many religious texts, and includes a vast source of wisdom + teachings. Oud is generally reffered the distillation of the agarwood itself, but can go both ways when speaking of the matter. It is the 2nd heaviest wood compared to ebony. These malas hail from the Cambodian forests, each is 36” total + 5.5” tassel and the bead diameter is 9mm. With the wood being so dense, in order to acheive the smell, it is usually hydro-distilled, which takes 8-64 days of straight proccessing to acheive. These malas do have a subtle smell, yet as above, in order to really experience would need to be burned, or distilled, stay tuned as we will soon be offerings both options to fully experience this immaculate wood.
Sandalwood is another praised, rare, and delicate wood. It is much lighter in feel, and less dense than oud, making it easier to carve. A very sweet , calming, and sensual scent. Aids in deeper self love, nurturing + trust in the perfection and unfolding of life. The smaller , 8mm diameter beads, 28” length + 1.5” tassel, is Nepalese sandalwood. It is very fresh, emanating the pure and sacred scent of true sandalwood and serenity. The larger mala, 9mm diameter beads, 36” length + 1.5” tassel , is Indian / Mysore sandalwood. A different strain than the Nepalese, and is from an older source of wood. It also has a wonderful scent, just slightly lighter in character with different notes than thee other.
.:. Mysore sandalwood ( Santalum Album ) , is a legendary sandalwood from India. Its distinct rich , creamy , buttery aroma crossed with a mellow woody , floral , earthly scent , is truly a divine experience to be hold.
.:. Coming from a master of this art form who has perfected his craft for many decades. Its quality is beyond what most would ever experience, or have experienced in the past. Unlike lower grade incense , using wood from the outside of the tree, that is blended with many fixatives , binders, and synthetic scents. This specific high density extruded Japanese style incense , comes from what is called the heart wood. Heart wood , is the deepest core wood of a tree , which takes over a decade to form its rich resin content. Cambodia has one of the best combinations of raw , earthy,mossy yet minty notes blended with rosey, floral, sweet honey notes. Vibrant and light yet dank and heavy , truly and experience to be had.

This is the rarest and most expensive and exotic tree resin in the world. Hence the incense and the oil itself , reflecting that by how expensive the material is to gather and grow as well time and material spent processing it . The oil is an entirely different story compared to the incense. As time has gone on , and some species have become endangered, some even extinct, the Ingenuity of the human mind has figured out how to work with it. In so , there are still patches of wild agarwood , yet some have been cultivated and delicately taken care of. .:. Vietnam is the only region where the Kynam/Kinam/Kyara resin scent profile occurs. It is the sharpest , most brilliant of all Agarwood, sometimes described as the highest spectrum. It can be categorized into a few different color ranges , Green ( which this incense is) , purple , white , black. It is the heaviest , most resin saturated wood out of any Agarwood, sometimes referred to as “shining grade”, as it is so heavy and resin dense it will sink when placed in water.
